Sucharita warmly welcomed us to the Powertime Practice call on this Saturday, June 15, 2019.  She says we are on a fun-filled adventure with Dr. Pillai, and we are learning how to navigate the energies of Time.  Every hour, day, week and month carries an energy that we can access and use to our advantage.  Every second is a new existence, a new opportunity to create the world we want to live in.  We have come to this earth plane to learn our lessons and move ahead in our spiritual journeys and we have found Dr. Pillai to help us to evolve.

This is Father’s Day weekend and today we are going to honor our fathers.  The biological father has given is half our chromosomes and allowed us to be alive on the earth plane, so we honor and bless the father, whether we have a good relationship with him or not.  We can erase the sins of our fore fathers by feeding their souls through a ritual called tarpanam. The Sun is now transiting into the sign of Gemini, and so we may experience a new harmony with our biological fathers. The sun represents our soul and in the birth chart, the sun represents the father.

Gayatri is the goddess of the sun and she is going to cleanse all our sense receptors.  As we approach the full moon we can access abundance consciousness.  Somehow we have all found Dr. Pillai who is teaching us how to connect with the Divine beings that live inside of us.  Vishvamitra is a Divine being who has given us the sound Brzee, the sound of abundance and prosperity.

Meditation:
Today we honored the father, the father-figure, the teacher and the guru.  Dr. Pillai’s spiritual name is Dattatreya Sivababa.  Dattatreya represents the trinity- the father, the son and the holy ghost.  We can tap into the energies of Dattatreya in our meditations.

Always begin with Ganesha‘s Chant (Ganesha is the elephant-headed god who is the remover of all obstacles, seen or unseen):

Chants to open the chakras-Start at the base of the spine and pull the energy up through the chakras to the top of the head:

We ask the sun god to align our chakras and awaken our souls:

We call on the sun goddess Gayatri and Kamadhenu, the wish fulfilling goddess cow to awaken all the sense organs:

We call on the goddess Shreem Brzee (Lakshmi) to awaken the consciousness of abundance and wealth in our bodies:

“Guru means ‘the supreme teacher’. A Guru is concerned with the science of life itself. What is life? Why do people go through hardships and how can they get beyond them to live a better life and evolve to the next level? That is the job of the Guru. A Guru, like a mother or father, trains and guides you toward the Divine.” – Dr. Pillai

In Sanskrit, Gu means darkness and Ru means removing it. A Guru is a remover of darkness.

Guru is a word that has also come to mean in English someone who is a teacher. For example, in the contemporary world we might describe someone as a business management guru if the person is a subject matter expert in that area and able to transmit knowledge of business management skills to others.

However, the highest level of guru is still considered to be someone who is able to serve as a guiding light in spiritual matters. A living, enlightened guru is a precious resource. The attitude of compassionate, loving service that motivates an enlightened guru is astonishing to experience.

A living, enlightened guru is no longer bound by karma to be on the Earth plane and yet voluntarily chooses to work ceaselessly to help others.

An enlightened guru cares equally for all their students, whether they see the students frequently or they work with the students from a distance. An enlightened guru always cares about the highest good of each student. The outer interactions between guru and student may differ depending on the needs of each student. However, the love from an enlightened guru is the same for each student.

An Enlightened Guru: Respects Free Will

Although an enlightened guru can transmit amazing energy, an enlightened guru respects the free will of a student. Dr. Pillai has said several times that free will is a genuine divine principle. Students are always free to leave working with a living, enlightened guru without guilt or fear. A living, enlightened guru will wish them well.

An Enlightened Guru: Does Not Fit Anyone’s Picture

“A real enlightened teacher is intense and they are not going to fit into Hollywood images of a teacher. To become enlightened, you need to do what no one does, transcend the self. The steps and maneuvers to become enlightened are learned inwardly from someone who is enlightened.” – Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama)

An enlightened guru genuinely lives in the Now and is authentically spontaneous. An enlightened guru continues to evolve and makes fresh discoveries. One of the great joys in studying with an enlightened guru is experiencing their passion and enthusiasm for light. An enlightened guru has a kind of super-computer ability to transmit energy in a way that is uniquely correct for each student’s individual situation.

An Enlightened Guru: Receptivity Is Required in a Student

It is said that enlightened gurus can transmit their highest knowledge in silence.

At the same time, enlightened gurus often share teachings through spoken words, writing or living example.

The Moon is a great example of the importance of receptivity. We enjoy the great beauty of a Full Moon when the Moon is shining brilliantly with light it has received from the Sun. In Vedic astrology the Moon is considered a feminine energy, a receptive energy. It is said that enlightenment comes through the feminine side of a being.

While we all have both masculine and feminine sides, being in touch with our feminine side can make it easier for us to experience the light an enlightened guru is transmitting.

An enlightened guru helps students to purify. For students whose minds become in tune with an enlightened guru, silent communication can happen no matter where the guru or students physically are. Whether they are thousands of miles apart or in the same room, there can be silent communication and heart-felt transmission.

An Enlightened Guru: Willing to Work with New Technologies

While an enlightened guru genuinely lives the realizations and discoveries of ancient sages, an enlightened guru is also open to working with the technologies of their time.

In the modern age, Dr. Pillai has been delighted to create numerous videos for YouTube. He has said he is happy with YouTube’s ability to reach anyone who has access to the internet, “They don’t have to pay, and I don’t have to travel.” The spiritual blessings come through real-time whenever someone is watching Dr. Pillai’s YouTube videos from anywhere in the world.

In our own age, Time magazine has called Dr. Pillai “the YouTube Guru” (3 October 2008). Anyone doing a search in YouTube on Dr. Pillai will find a very generous number of positive, inspiring and even life-changing videos across many subjects.

We are so fortunate to live in an age where technology is giving us access to a living, enlightened guru in a way we have not had in earlier centuries.

Enlightened Gurus: Blessings Flow Through Especially Strong on Guru Purnima

Once a year is a special Full Moon known as the Full Moon of the Guru. This is called Guru Purnima in Sanskrit.

“Guru Purnima is a special window of time for the descent of all the Gurus from their heavenly abode in the earth plane.  The living Guru accesses the energy of the Gurus and passes it on to the students on this special Full Moon day. There are gurus who specialize in enlightenment, incredible wealth, light body and ever so many other subjects.

In India, it is a big event because it is the land of the Gurus, and land of the yogis. They look forward to this one particular night to charge their spirituality because of the descending of these ascended masters into this earth plane.” – Dr. Pillai

Full Moon of the Guru, 2019: Dr. Pillai’s Online Retreat

In previous years, Dr. Pillai has sometimes offered an in-person retreat for Guru Purnima.

For 2019, Dr. Pillai has decided to do an online retreat during the Full Moon of the Guru. He feels this helps save some money for students in terms of travel and accommodations. At the same time, the online retreat gives an opportunity for people around the world to be present for the energetic transmissions that are uniquely available during Guru Purnima.

Anyone is welcome to sign up for whatever level of participation feels appropriate in terms of budget and availability. Dr. Pillai has said several times he considers anyone who works with his teachings to be his student. Whether someone has worked with Dr. Pillai’s teachings previously or not, for Guru Purnima, we all have an opportunity to be a receptive student and experience the blessings of a living, enlightened guru.

Sessions will be recorded and will be available for later viewing, so even if the time zone differences / work schedules, etc. are challenging for some of us, we still have the option to watch a recording and receive the blessings at a time that works for us.

Ganesha is the elephant-headed Ultimate Obstacle Removal Archetype. He is lightning fast with results. 4th and 14th Moons are Ganesha’s strongest regular powertimes, when he is most accessible.

“The 11th Moon in Sanskrit is called Ekadasi, which really means the 11th Moon. Eleven is a number that represents abundance. There is a lot of mythology around this 11th Moon, which is particularly associated with Vishnu. Vishnu is the God of the 11th Moon.” – Dr. Pillai

During the July 12 (PDT) 11th Waxing Moon powertime, the Moon will be in Vishakha, the star of courage and luxury.  It is a great time to invoke Vishnu, the Archetype of Wealth, to help increase and secure material comforts.

During the upcoming 11th Waxing Moon, Pillai Center’s Vedic priests will invoke both Vishnu and Kubera. Kubera is a wealth archetype. Dr. Pillai says, “Kubera is the banker of heaven. Do a Partial Fast on the 11th Moon. This powertime is especially good for fasting. You do not need a total fast. Some fruit and juice is OK. Powertime: Receive Health Blessings from Muruga

The 6th Waxing Moon is a powertime for Spiritual Warrior Archetype Muruga.

Dr. Pillai teaches: “He is an archetype who can do miracles and carries the highest intelligence to perform the most difficult tasks. He is the compassionate one [who bails] us out from difficult situations. He is the Lord of the Pleiades, and the Pleiadians are very concerned about the evolution of the Earth plane.” – Dr. Pillai

Muruga conquers internal enemies with his Vel (lance) and represents the evolution of the brain and 3rd Eye.

This particular 6th Moon will be in Purva Phalguni, which is a star that influences material comforts and relaxation according to Vedic Astrology. This is an auspicious time to invoke Muruga for blessings related to healing and rejuvenation.

The Vel: Muruga’s Mighty Weapon

Dr. Pillai teaches, “The Vel, which is the lance that Muruga carries, can erase your karma: your money karma, your relationship karma, your health karma, and your disease karma. It’s glowing with a tremendous amount of light coming out of the Vel, light and heat. That light and heat, both celestial, will diffuse the karmic deposits within your soul, and also within your brain.” 

He continues, “Once karma is diffused by the Vel, then the mindset will change. Most people have a mediocre mindset, attracting only scarcity and fighting with scarcity. Then they continue to live in that state of mind. That has to be changed, and who can help? Muruga and his Vel can help.”

It is pronounced ohm sah-rah-vah-nah bah-vah, with equal accent on each syllable. The mantra is said to have the ability to dissolve karmic thought patterns and help bring good health and prosperity.

Pillai Center teacher Mohini has shared a powerful meditation that uses Muruga’s Vel and Bija mantra to remove internal enemies and bad karma, and to awaken the 3rd Eye, your Spiritual Eye. Try this meditation, and you’ll see just how powerful it is. See below for instructions.

Dr. Pillai teaches: “The Vel is an instrument for opening the 3rd Eye. As a matter of fact, the Vel itself, the lance that Muruga holds, is the 3rd Eye. The 3rd Eye intelligence is the highest intelligence, and it is not learned intelligence, so that’s a great advantage.”

Instructions:

1. Imagine Muruga holding a Vel in his hand. The Vel is as bright as thousands of suns, and just as powerful. Visualize it as a bright flame. Do this for a few moments.
2. Imagine the Vel in your entire spinal column, with its head in your 3rd Eye, which is between the eyebrows and a little bit inward.
3. The Vel is now burning your 3rd Eye, purifying it of negative karma, and making room for Divine Intelligence and intuition.
4. Say a prayer: I will never forget the Vel, burning in my 3rd Eye, as a bright flame, removing my karma.
5. Command the Vel, in prayer, to remove all disease karma. Remember to keep the visualization of the Vel in the spinal column going. It’s very bright.
6. Repeat Muruga’s seed syllable mantra: Om Saravana Bhava. It’s pronounced Ohm Sah Rah Vah Nah Bah Vah. This is the sound equivalent of the Vel that slices up your inner demons.
7. Command the Vel to remove poverty consciousness, and repeat the mantra while the Vel burns in your 3rd Eye.
8. Repeat the previous step with a command to remove your ignorance and replace it with Divine Intelligence.
9. Give thanks to Muruga.

“Every Pradosham time is the powertime for you to wake up, even if you don’t meditate on a daily basis. If you are aware of the Pradosham time and observe it by meditating during the Pradosham time, you can be liberated from this unconscious life.” – Dr. Pillai

The 1.5 hours before sunset on the 13th Moon phase is a karma-dissolving powertime called Pradosham.

Shiva, the Ultimate Karma Removal Archetype, is believed to be highly accessible during this time to help you remove the karmic thought patterns and impressions that hold you back from spiritual and material success.

During this particular Pradosham, the Moon will be in Jyeshta, the star governing courage and conflict resolution according to Vedic Astrology.

This is a great time to dissolve undesirable karmic thought patterns that make you afraid or awkward when stepping into leadership positions. You may have karma from past lives coming from abuse of power. This is the time to let go of that and heal your relationships.

MANTRA & AT-HOME PRACTICE:

Use the Thiru Neela Kantam mantra to remove karma. It’s pronounced TEE-roo NEE-lah KAHN-tahm. Don’t just chant it every once in a while. Slip it into your day during any “downtime” so it creates a powerful momentum that cleanses your karma. Use the mantra any time you’re not busy with something you can’t do simultaneously. If you have a specific problem in mind, you can set the intent to cleanse the karmic thought patterns behind it.

Do the Namah Shivaya Meditation. Dr. Pillai says, “You will have a world of benefits come to you. It will burn your karma, your Maya, and your ego.”

Instructions:

• Close your eyes. Chant each syllable for a few seconds while focusing on each of the chakras.
• At the bottom of the spine – NAAAAH.
• Move to the navel – MAAAAH.
• Move to the heart – SHEEEE.
• Move to the throat, the mouth – VAAAAAH.
• Move to the two eyes, and then the Third Eye and the brain – YAAAAAH.

That’s less than a minute. You can prolong your visit to each chakra, and you can also do this meditation multiple times in a row. It’s flexible.

To please my family, I went to university and obtained two Master’s Degrees and a Ph.D from the University of Pittsburgh, but deep down I always knew that I was destined for greater things. I went through a period of soul-searching and thought deeply about many things.

We are all on a soul journey. We all have personal things that we want to achieve. I have always dreamt of having enough money to finance all the great scholars, scientists and technologists who work relentlessly to produce spiritual technology that can change the world.

A lot of spiritual people are poor. Osho once said: “They are spiritual people, they are not material people, what do you expect?” He also said: “Spiritual people are spirit-less people. This is why they do not make any money”. Osho was a very light-hearted genius who never took anything too seriously.

My own biography is a fight between materiality and spirituality, but these are not opposites. Spirituality is a skill for success in the material world as the spirit is more powerful than the material mind.

At The End of the World There Is God

In the bible, God says: “Call on me and I will give you the end of the world as your inheritance”. The Divine was talking about the higher ‘you’, for you are God. The lower ‘you’ is your vocation, your small identity.

In the upcoming Guru Purnima celebrations, I am going to talk about things I have been through in my life and what I have learned. I will also show you how easy it is to become affluent.

We were born in a world where money is considered bad— all religions teach that. Money is not bad, but a lack of money is. Money is not evil, but a lack of money is.

I am also going to talk about scarcity consciousness which is not spiritual; it is the opposite of being spiritual. Spirit is God. It has the ability to do everything you want to do.

Everything in the world is based upon sounds. Your mind-set, your material reality, the events that are due to take place in your life, they are all based on sounds. The Bible says: “In the beginning, there was the word, and the word was with God, and God created everything with the Word.”

The Sound for Wealth Consciousness

Chant the sound Shreem Brzee, 108 times a day. Use a word counter and chant Shreem Brzee, Shreem Brzee, Shreem Brzee over and over. These two sounds have the ability to transform scarcity consciousness into prosperity consciousness. They are the building blocks of material reality. Speak the word and manifest it.  

The Kabbalah Textbook of Creation says that Abraham was able to create a goat simply by repeating the word goat, goat, goat. Sounds can manifest. Soon we will be able to prove this. String Theory is quoted as saying that “the fundamental principle of creation is sound waves.”

We can create through sounds. They are powerful,l and I will teach more about them in the Guru Purnima Siddhi Powers Course on July 13th, 2019. Students will learn how to manifest with soundwaves.

The Elements Hold Tremendous Power

Mantras are highly powerful… so powerful that they could stop an earthquake. The quantum sound Na is the soundwave taken from the mantra “Namasivaya”. The Na syllable represents the Earth. Namasivaya is made up of five sounds Na, Ma, Shi, Va, and Ya. Each sound represents the five elements of the earth.

Earth has many treasures including gold and platinum. Everything comes from the earth so everything is Na.

The Past and Future Is the Present Moment

Spirituality is not about sitting and lamenting over things we have not been able to do. It is about living in the Now.  It is about the technology that is available to mold and shape our lives. When we live spiritually, we live like a master and not a slave.

Sadness is a deep thought, a still thought, and we do not know why it makes us feel the way it does. In between two thoughts, there is nothingness. That nothingness is a state of bliss. In between two thoughts there is emptiness or Nirvana.

There is a saying, “thoughts are our guests; they check in and check out.” We are the host, the one who experiences these thoughts through the synaptic gap. In order to find and kill these roots of sadness, we have to go into the synaptic gap.

I am going to teach two techniques that will help you to cope with sadness and experience bliss.

Purnam-adah purnam-idam

Purnaat purnam-udachyate

Purnasya purnam-aadaaya

Purnam-eva-avashishyate

There is only one thing that exists, and that is completeness and bliss. There is nothing else, just completeness and bliss, but the mind brings in many thoughts, some of which cause sadness and pain.

Sadness is a very deep thought form, it never leaves. It is very powerful. It makes the heart heavy and causes pain and distress. Sadness is Maya, an illusion. You are bigger than an emotion, which is just a deep thought.

Have you ever noticed that when you take a relaxing shower you enter a different state of consciousness?  This state of consciousness is highly susceptible to the suggestions in the following meditations.

Meditation One

Close your eyes.

Assume that you have taken a shower and are now sitting comfortably and relaxed. In front of you is a table or a wall.You notice a being, a replica of yourself standing before you. This white, luminal being— your reflection—is upside down. The head is on the floor, and the feet are pointing towards the sky. You walk over to the feet and massage them. 

Your reflection now enters your body and merges with you. But still your feet face upwards and settle in the brain. Put your hand on your brain and give it a gentle massage. You are massaging the feet of your reflection, which have now become the brain of your physical body. Massage gently and lovingly.

Look into the eyes of your reflection, and as you do so, notice how all thoughts of sadness pour out of your eyes and into the sky.

Meditation Two

Focus on your right eye. A light is shining into this eye and shooting into your right brain, filling the right brain with light. 

Now, the light is shining into your left eye and shooting into your left brain, filling the left brain with light. The entire brain is filled with light.

There are so many things that happen when you perform this technique. Billions of synapses are created. The light body now enters your physical body through your nostrils.

Breathe in your light body and place it in the pituitary gland where it will change old memories. Old identities and old thoughts—they will disappear. Your whole body is now filled with light.

You don’t even exist. Your body has become light and has merged into the light.

Om

Om purnam-adah purnam-idam

Purnaat purnam-udachyate

Purnasya purnam-aadaaya

Purnam-eva-avashishyate

You are now full. You are bliss, total bliss. Your sadness is gone. You are full of light and joy and bliss.
