How to Develop a Personal Relationship with your Guru

Are Gurus relevant in the 21st century? Are religions and scriptures relevant? I ask these questions because Gurus and scriptures are often classed as belonging to a civilization that we no longer need.

Today the world is based on science and technology, which begs the question: How relevant is religion and a Guru in the 21st Century? These are very important questions. I think they are more important today than ever before because they talk about eternal truth.

What is eternal truth?

Eternal truth is all about understanding your soul, your mind and yourself. This is what the scriptures and the Gurus talk about.

The mind is the cause of all the problems we encounter in this lifetime. It is also the cause for whatever successes may come our way. It plays both parts and gives us an understanding of energy and how to exploit or change it according to our needs. However, the mind is also the reason for depression. We all become depressed at some point throughout the day, so it is important to understand the relationship between the mind and the day.

When you wake up each morning, the mind is usually very clear and happy, enabling you to achieve a lot of things. But some days you may wake up feeling low. No matter how hard you try, things do not fall into place. This is real; we are subjected to forces of energy that come from the planets.

Try studying this in a very scientific way. Take for example, Friday. Generally, this is a day of joy, but not everyone will feel this joy. It can be very bad for some.

What do you do?

The Guru plays the role of a psychologist and provides the tools needed to deal with the mind. For instance, if you are in a bad mood, Pranayama breathing will help to soften the edges.

Try breathing out through your mouth for as long as possible, and then inhale quickly through your nose. This maintains a special relationship with the breath and the mind. When you practice chaotic breathing for say, five minutes or even two minutes, the mind will become very clear, and you will be able to maintain a brighter frame of mind throughout the day.

This spiritual technology can be used every single day. You can do it anytime. It will stop everything. It allows you to step out of the mind and stop the thought process.

The mind can be controlled through your breathing. This is something a Guru can teach in more depth. Your Guru could be an enlightened person or just someone who instructs, but he will be able to help at a higher level which is very important. Spiritually, a Guru will bring you closer to God.

You Can Really Talk to God and Receive an Answer

The Guru is a conduit for Divine energy. It is very important to connect with him and build up a personal relationship. You do not have to see him in person, but if you can, that is great.

Look into the eyes of the Guru and pay close attention to his words. Be with him and talk to him every day. Keep looking into his eyes and you will become intoxicated by the Divine. Look at him, listen to him and the breath will settle down, the mind will settle down and put you in touch with God.

On Guru Purnima, I am offering the gift of one-hour instruction and deep blessings. Don’t miss out.

God Bless!

kala bhairava, pillai center, powertimes, 8th moon, time management

“Bhairava means the principle of creation, maintenance, and dissolution. So, he is the totality of time – the beginning, middle, and the end. Bhairava is Shiva himself, who gives the supreme understanding of all possibilities of human consciousness.”

“It is a misconception that working long hard hours will give you the greatest rewards. You can transform the power of your hours into seconds by compressing time with Kala Bhairava. Kala Bhairava knows the secret for compressing time.”

-Dr. Pillai

Kala Bhairava is the Archetype of Time, much like the Greek God Chronos. He is also a ferocious form of Shiva, the Ultimate Archetype of Karma Removal. His powertimes are 8th Moon days, both waxing and waning. He can help with time management, doing things at the right time, and condensing time for faster manifestation of desires.

During Wednesday’s 8th Waning Moon, the Moon will be in Ashwini, a star that is believed to govern matters of health in Vedic Astrology. This is a great time to enlist Kala Bhairava for successful time management, sound health, and quickening your path to your most cherished goals.

Mantra & At-Home Practice

Chant the mantra that quickens manifestations: Udyamo Bhairava. It’s pronounced WOOD-yah-mo BUY-rah-vah. It invokes Kala Bhairava’s ability to condense time with the consciousness that transcends it. Use it to achieve your goals more quickly.

Powertime Enhancer

Invoke Kala Bhairava in the Stop Wasting Time Interactive Fire Lab on Wednesday, July 24 PDT. The expert priests will invoke his powers on your behalf to help bring you his blessings to eliminate time leaks, reach your goals more quickly, and enjoy sound health. Enjoy the benefits from anywhere in the world through ancient Vedic proxy (distance) technology. You can also tune in to the live webcast.

How to Permanently Remove Sadness from Your Life

My video on sadness was watched by people from all walks of life—the rich, the poor, the famous and the-not-so-famous—because we all become sad from time to time. Sadness is a fact of life. We can distract ourselves from it by doing other things such as going to the movies, but that sadness can reappear at any time. It can raise its head during the movie or the moment we leave the theater.

God is the only one who can give us a permanent way out. The body can produce a lot of sadness. This leads to side-effects such as indigestion, constipation and all manner of illnesses. We are never in control of this emotion, but God can control sadness. We rarely think about God as being able to control emotional issues.

The Lord Himself Will Go Before You and Be With You

The permanent solution for removing sadness can be found through God. It is very important to have an image of God, Buddha, Jesus or any God that you worship. Place that image in front of you and, in time, you will experience transformation. This is an easy way to connect with the Divine.

As I was preparing this blog, a flower from the Goddess Lakshmi fell to the floor. This is a sign of her blessing for this project. I plan to prepare life-size images of Shreem Brzee which will be offered at a very low cost, because the main cause for sadness is lack of money. Shreem Brzee will solve this problem. It will significantly reduce sadness.

Use a picture of the God you wish to connect with. Look intently at the image and notice the energy that resonates from the source. This energy will seep into the body, mind and soul and turn it into light.

Where Heaven and Earth Meet

Day by day, as Divine light enters your body, you will have the opportunity to turn yourself into a body of light where there will be no re-birth. You will go to heaven, and in heaven, there will be no sadness or suffering.

There is only one activity which will take place in God’s realm and that is partying! You will become drunk—not with alcohol but with the bliss of God.

With an image of your favorite deity, Guru, Messiah or angel, your sadness can be replaced. This is great technology for combating sadness.

God Bless,

Dr. Pillai

Be Virtually Present at Dr. Pillai’s Brzee Temple

I am here on the Earth plane with a purpose. The purpose is for you to experience God. This will not be through meaningless worship or rituals. It will be through first-hand experience. That is why I call my fire rituals ‘Fire Labs’. I purposefully came up with the term ‘Fire Lab’ because it represents a laboratory where you can invoke God and a sense the power of the Divine for yourself.

I have even used an EEG machine to monitor exactly what happens in the brain when a Fire Lab takes place.

The Divine is experienced in a very exceptional way. When we attend a Fire Lab, we are transported to another dimension of reality where we connect with God. In this place, we can receive his blessings, solve problems or become at one with him. You may encounter all manner of experiences depending upon your soul’s evolution.

You Can Become What You Worship

The Goddess Angali is coming to my Brzee Temple. Angali is the Goddess who can give Siddhi powers. Now is the time for talking about and experiencing the effects of image worship.

I have built a huge statue of Angali, the Mother Divine who can bring forth Siddhi powers. She is an educator and a form of Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning. Her powers are so great, she can transform an illiterate person into a great poet.

Keep Your Heart, Mind and Soul Open to the Power of Miracles

I strongly suggest watching the movie. ‘The Man Who Knew Infinity’. This is a movie about Ramanujan, a  laborer who went to London to prove his mathematical genius. He obtained his powers from the Goddess Angali who belongs to the Satya Yuga, the age of truth where humans are inspired by the gods. Therefore, Goddess Angali is associated with the highest form of knowledge or wisdom. She can perform miracles and is known as the Miracle Goddess.

When Angali visits my temple you can stand before her. Soon, there will be a newsletter which will explain more. Your photograph will be placed in front of the Goddess, it will represent the surrogate you. For a set period of time, she will remain in your presence and you in hers where she will send forth her many blessings.

God’s Spirit Dwells in Your Midst

Siddhi powers are supernormal powers that are very similar to the Holy Spirit. In the Christian tradition, Jesus said, “after I am gone, there will be the Holy Spirit. It will help you to perform miracles.” The last teaching Jesus gave was, “you should all be able to perform miracles.”  That is the gift of the Holy Spirit and the power that the Goddess Angali can give to true and dedicated worshippers.

This is a very powerful worship that we have forgotten about in India. I am reviving this beautiful ceremony which involves beautiful music and dance. People become possessed with the energy of the Goddess.

The Goddess Angali is on her way. She will bring material and spiritual science. This will enable us to perform miracles.

God Bless,

Dr. Pillai

Namaste fellow spiritual travelers!  Sucharita welcomed us on the Powertime Practice call on July 20, 2019.  We are here together from all corners of the earth to share the teachings of our guru, Dr. Pillai.  Last week was Guru Purnima or Full Moon of the Guru.  Guru means “dispeller of darkness”.  Anyone who tunes into this energy will benefit!  Dr. Pillai says that it is very important to stick to our spiritual path because all things on this earth will pass, but our spirit carries on. Our bodies die, but impressions of our past lives or karma, follow the soul into the next body.  We are here with Dr. Pillai to get rid of our karma, by learning our karmic lessons.  This life is the ultimate journey and we are here to learn how to navigate this path.  We are so lucky to have found a Satguru in Dr. Pillai to guide us.  He is here to help us no matter what religious or spiritual path that we may follow.  He will help us to be at the right time, at the right place to benefit from the phases of the moons and stars.  Since we have a physical body, we will have emotions and we are always bumping up against ourselves!  Wherever we go, there we are!  LOL!

Sucharita tells us there are 4 numbers that are important this week-4, 6, 8, 10.  These are the phases of the moon this week.  Today is the 4th waning moon called Sankashti ChaturthiGanesha rules the 4th moon, and Saturn rules Saturday.  How can we propitiate Ganesha on the 4th moon?  We can chant his seed sound-Gum Gum Gum.  The mantra is the being!  Ganesha is the Remover of all obstacles, seen and unseen.  A good thing to do is to take a coconut which represents our brain.  Roll it around our body, our head, or simply hold it in our hands.  There are no hard and fast rules. Then smash the coconut!  This gets rid of bad karma and bad thoughts.  You can do the same thing with lemons and limes.  Cut the fruit and discard it after rolling it all over your body.  A yantra or a statue of Ganesha can help you do to connect with him.  Dr. Pillai says that a yantra is a machine that can work for you.  You can just take a drop of water and drip it on the yantra or statue. The Ganesha Yantra is usually made out of copper sheet with geometric patterns engraved on it. This gets us on the same wave length of these being!  Ganesha helps us to experience success!  He resides in the Muladhara or base chakra.

We all run major & minor planetary influences.  Go to AstroVed to see what  your major planetary influences are.

The 6th moon will start on Monday.  Muruga rules the 6th moon.  Muruga is the brother of Ganesha and is represented by a spear called the Vel.  The vel represents your shushumna which is a hair-like channel that runs along our spine.  His vehicle is a peacock, which represents OM.  He is a spiritual warrior and is associated with the Pleiadian energy.  He gets rid of diseases and roots out negative karma.  He goes to war for us.  He can help with law suits.  He can clear the 2nd chakra, the chakra of creation and also the chakra of money.  This chakra or svadhisthana chakra is associated with water. This energy center offers direct access to flow, flexibility, and fun. He is the god of the Third Eye!  Pour a little water on the Vel and chant his name or his mantra Sa Ra Va Na Ba Va Ya or Murugan Kumaran Guhan.  Take your vel and stick it into a lemon or lime.  Imagine all your negative karma, and just leave this aside for awhile.

On Wednesday is the 8th moonKala Bhairava is a fierce form of Siva and rules the 8th moon.  Kala means time, Bha means “hello!Ra  means the sun.  He always travels with a dog.  (We must take care of our dogs!)  He has a smiley face.  Udyamo Bhairava is his mantra.

July 26 is the 10th moonVeerabhadra or Veera Bhadraya rules the 10th moon.  Veerabhadra is associated with the authorities of Jupiter and Saturn.  They will judge you and help you along on your path.

The “Day of Multifold Prosperity Blessings,” known as Aadi Perukku, is a once-a-year powertime to invoke the Goddess Annapoorneshwari, also known as Annapoorna. She is considered to be an aspect of Parvati, wife of Shiva, who is in charge of blessing humanity with material nourishment, abundance, and prosperity.

On Aadi Perukku, Pillai Center will invoke the blessings of Goddess Annapoorna through a special 3-priest Fire Lab and multiple powerspot offerings at vortices in India, which according to scriptures can invoke her blessings to remove scarcity and fulfill your material desires.

Benefits of the Day of Multifold Prosperity Blessings

According to scriptures, reaching out to Goddess Annapoorna on Aadi Perukku can bestow multifold prosperity blessings, including:

  • Removal of the conditions that create scarcity
  • Receiving all forms of material nourishment
  • Fulfilling wishes and earnest desires
  • Granting “fertile” abundance
  • Receiving the gift of health and overall wellness
  • Eradication of fear and bestowal of protection

Benefit From the Power of Giving This August

Love is the solution to life’s pains. Selfless service is the way to purify yourself and end your suffering. This is the way to wisdom and enlightenment. You should become truly dedicated to becoming a new paradigm. Learn to love others and hurt no one. Do selfless service and dedicate every moment to serving God. Miracles will happen and you will have peace”. – Dr. Pillai

There are six opportunities this month to perform selfless acts toward the underprivileged and destitute across India.

Naga Panchami – August 4, 2019

In many parts of India, the reaping of a harvest is still a manual process. Farmers work in fields, facing the risk of snake bites. By propitiating Lord Shiva, agriculturalists are said to receive protection from snakes, thus allowing poor rural folk to grow crops and earn a living.

During Naga Panchami 2019, the Moon is in the Uttara Phalguni nakshatra. People born under this constellation are often kind-hearted and benevolent with a love for helping others – they truly believe in charity.

Use this time to soften the many fears in the world and replace them with love. We rarely think about the millions of people who fear the thought of dying from hunger. The Tripura Foundation was set up by Dr. Pillai to ensure that emergency nutrition is readily available to the vulnerable and weak.

This is a day for showing people less fortunate the gift of kindness, and what better way to do this than by donating to Dr. Pillai’s Tripura Foundation – a charity that provides immediate help for men, women and children who are struggling to survive.

Lord Shiva is said to reward such offerings with the gift of good health, wealth and great blessings.

Moon (Soma) Pradosham – August 12, 2019

The term Pradosham means ‘removal of sins’ .Praying to Lord Shiva one and a half hours before sunset is said to attune the mind, body and soul to his cleansing energy. This can help reduce the karmic footprints you have inherited from past lives, the ones which block your spiritual growth and prosperity.

Another way to release personal karma in your life is through your own generosity and support.

The Tripura Foundation has penetrated the hearts of many caring people. Donations on this day go toward the welfare of the severely impoverished. Lord Shiva and the gods are said to be most pleased when we help the needy. Such actions do not go unnoticed and are rewarded with guidance to victory and success.

Full Moon – August 14, 2019

On Earth, we experience the powerful influence of the Moon every moment of the day. It controls bodies of water, oceans, lakes, and even the water in our bodies.  Dr. Pillai says: “During Full Moon days, the sea or the ocean rises, there are high tides”. The Moon has a profound effect on the mind during this time.

On this day the universe is alive with the energy of Lord Vishnu who is renowned for his kind acts toward humanity. When we fill our hearts with his super-charged vibrations, we can become sensitive to the needs of others. A donation to charities such as the Tripura Foundation can attract the attention of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu’s consort. She is most pleased when we donate to the poor and needy. The Goddess knows that we all need money to survive and will likewise bless us with abundance of all kinds.

Vishnupati – Sun Enters Leo – August 16, 2019

On this day, the Sun enters Leo, the sign that it governs. This is a time for remembering Lord Vishnu, the Preserver of the Universe who cares for life on earth. If you are currently experiencing money or health problems or the malefic effects of negative karma, now is the time for cleansing the soul and absorbing the vibrant energy of both the Sun and Lord Vishnu.

Dr. Pillai says:

“if you need dramatic results in material wealth you have to go to Vishnu. Invoke his energy by reciting the sounds—OM NAMO NARAYANAYA—108 times. Connect with him and trust that you will be blessed with good things.”

Vishnu is a source from which we can gain strength. By donating to the Tripura Foundation’s Million Meals of Hope initiative, we not only gain the strength to move forward in our own lives, we also give strength to the weak and vulnerable. These selfless acts are rewarded by the Sun and Lord Vishnu.

Krishna’s Birthday – August 23, 2019

Dr. Pillai says:

In India, we celebrate Krishna’s birthday every year. This happens at Ashtami, the eighth moon corresponding to his birth star, Rohini. Krishna is both a material and spiritual God. He can give us whatever we want depending on how we perceive him. If we see him as one who is against materialism, he will give enlightenment. If we perceive him as a ‘Party God,’ he will give us material gains.

On this day, Lord Vishnu along with his wife Radha help to dissolve poverty consciousness. Use this day to start chanting the mantra, Hari Bol.

Dr. Pillai explains the benefits:

Within a few months, you will see that through the magic of Krishna and Radha – things will change dramatically in your life. The way to change your mind-set is to fill your consciousness with Radha and Krishna.”

Radha has a fond connection with the elderly, making this the perfect time to carry out good deeds toward people in later life. Many survive on one meal a day; others eat just once or twice a week, making them frail and susceptible to illness.

A donation, no matter how big or small, enables volunteers at Dr. Pillai’s Tripura Foundation to go door-to-door to provide food, clothing, medical care and basic necessities to the elderly in Indian villages. This kind act is most appreciated by Lord Krishna and his wife, especially on his birthday. Use it as an opportunity to birth perfection, harmony and enjoyment to the Earth plane.

Pradosham – August 27, 2019

Pradosham falls on a Tuesday this month and is known as Runa Vimochana Pradosham, a day for removing karmic debts. On this day we should become mindful to the way we conduct our lives and partake in selfless acts.

We are all indebted to our parents, the environment, and society. Whether we are young or old, what we have taken should be given back. That is the law of the universe.

On this day we should take every opportunity to help children and old people. The Tripura Foundation works relentlessly to ensure that infants and veterans live with dignity. A donation on this day can help to remove the negative karma that holds you back from spiritual and material success. Shiva is highly accessible during this time; chant his mantra Namah Shivaya and connect with him.

Dr. Pillai says:

You will have a world of benefits come to you. It will burn your karma, your Maya, and your ego.”

As you can see, the best way to receive rich blessings this August is to become a blessing to others.

Proverbs 19:17 says:

One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, And He will repay him for his good deed.”

Today there is a lot of Vishnu energy available.  The 11th moon is today and this is Vishnu‘s moon and that is all about miracles!  Vishnu represents manifestation.  He is the party god in heaven!  And today’s star is Rohini, the star of Krishna, another incarnation of Vishnu.  One way to connect with the archetypes is to chant their mantras.  “Om Namo Narayanaya” is the mantra of Vishnu.

Also, today is Saturday, ruled by Saturn, the deliverer of karma.  He brings us to our spiritual path so we can  get rid of that karma!  Chant “Om Sanecharaya Namaha”.

Monday will be the 13th moon.  This is called pradosham and when it occurs on a Monday its called Soma Pradosham. Pradosham is a time for the removing negative karma in all areas of life, like, health, finances and relationships. Soma Pradosham is effective for clearing afflictions of the Moon that can cause mental anguish.  The Moon is important in astrology because it rules your mind and emotions. Be in a meditative state during the Pradosham time, starting an hour and a half before sunset. Participate in Soma Pradosham rituals and chant the karma-busting sound Thiru Neela Kantam”. This is a day to get rid of karma.  Lord Shiva represents harmony and enlightenment and he is the archetype to propitiate this day. There is a service offered at Pillai Center for Soma Pradosham.

We are also approaching a very special new moon on the 31st of July.  The new moon during the month of Aadi is called Aadi Amavasya.  This is the day when all the ancestors who has passed come very close to the earth plane and we can help them. Special ancestor offerings will be performed in India. If we propitiate them through the service of Tarpanam, the ancestors can evolve into their next journey.

There is a course in the Pillai Academy called Soul Genetics that Sucharita highly recommends. She says that our present is determined by our past:  Our ancestors are determining what is happening in our lives now.  We share the physical DNA of our ancestors, as well as the DNA of their souls.  Dr. Pillai says that the ancestors from 6 generations are especially influential in our lives.  This is only about 250-300 years ago-not that long ago!  They are hanging out in a purgatory state, waiting to evolve.  They can benefit greatly from us offering them the “food” of the tarpanam rituals.  This is the honoring of the ancestors.

Dr. Pillai says that tarpanam is the single most important ritual that we can perform in our lives!  Learn how to do it here. There is a year-long tarpanam program offered through the Pillai Center and AstroVed that will help our ancestors.

Being Happy and Blissful Every Moment

$

If you suffer at any level, you are going against the true nature of life, which is bliss. Suffering— whether it comes as a disease, lack of resources or incompatibility in a relationship—is the opposite of bliss. If you celebrate every moment of life, you stop suffering (or pain) from coming into your life.

All Limits Are Self-Imposed

Humanity as a whole has subscribed to old age, death, diseases, separation and agony. This was not an intelligent choice; it was a bad one. In Christianity it is referred to as ‘The Fall’. Before ‘The Fall’, life in Eden was blissful, the equivalent of living in heavenly consciousness. The first man and woman created the limitations we have today.

Manifest a Life of Material Abundance and Spiritual Ecstasy

We have followed a bad role model for billions of years. It is very slow-moving. We have to wait for everything. Our concept of time is going to change. Everything will change in a divine way. The very fact that you have not succeeded for so many years does not matter. Things can change very quickly.

Seek the Grace of a Divine Couple

You can gain bliss and maintain it through two divine archetypes: Radha and Krishna. They will help you to experience the true nature of life, which is pure heavenly consciousness.

God Bless,

– Dr. Pillai

Each summer there are special Snake Festivals. They can especially benefit people who deal with some form of influence from Rahu or Ketu. The Snake Festival days are known as Naga Chaturthi and Naga Panchami. Naga means snake, Chaturthi means 4th and Panchami means 5th.

In Tamil tradition, Naga Chaturthi is celebrated when it is the 4th Waxing Moon at sunrise after the New Moon in the Tamil month of Aadi (mid-July to mid-August), and Naga Panchami is celebrated when it is the 5th Waxing Moon at sunrise after the New Moon in the Tamil month of Aadi. In some areas, Naga Panchami is also known as Garuda Panchami.

Naga Chaturthi and Naga Panchami honor ancient, mystical snake beings known as Nagas. The Nagas are honored for having great wisdom and knowing secrets about cycles of time.

The Nagas also have the power to cast or remove curses. These festivals are celebrated to seek protection against snake afflictions and to receive positive serpentine blessings for the wellbeing of family and overall prosperity.

These summer serpent festivals also focus on protection against snake bites or other snake afflictions. They are also a time to seek relief from any snake-related curses you or your family may be carrying that trigger negative outcomes. Someone in your family tree may have harmed or even killed a snake in the past, and this is causing problems for you or your family today.

Snake-related afflictions can be the root of dangers from poison, chemicals or allergic substances. Propitiating the Nagas can deliver relief from addictions to alcohol and other intoxicants. Blessings from the Nagas can improve the general welfare of you and your family, improve overall abundance and help safeguard from poisonous influences on many levels.

It is said pacifying the Nagas can get rid of curses accrued from ancestors via Soul Genetics and enable you and your family to carry more positive spiritual DNA.

Snake Festivals Especially Beneficial for People Who Have Various Influences from Rahu and Ketu

Some of these conditions may apply either to us or to a family member or to a friend. Participating in the snake festivals can be very beneficial for anyone who has any of these connections to the snake planets, Rahu and Ketu.

  • If Rahu or Ketu are a current major (dasa) or minor (bhukti) planet of influence Throughout our lives, different planets take turns being our major and our minor planet of influence. This is mathematically calculated based on our birth chart. During their times of influence, the planets activate the sign and house they sit in within our birth chart as well as any signs or houses in our birth chart that they rule. If you do not know if Rahu or Ketu is either your current major or minor planet of influence, you can run a free Dasa Bhukti report at AstroVed, Dr. Pillai’s astrology site.
  • If the Moon sits in your birthchart in a star ruled by either Rahu or KetuStars ruled by Rahu include:o Ardra
    o Swati
o ShatabhishaStars ruled by Ketu include:o Ashwini
    o Magha
    o Moola
If you do not know what star the Moon sits in your birthchart, you can run a free Birthstar report at AstroVed, Dr. Pillai’s astrology site.
  • If Rahu or Ketu sit in a difficult (dusthana) house in your birthchart  The 6th, 8th and 12th houses in everyone’s birthchart (relative to their Ascendant sign) are considered difficult (dusthana) houses. The 6th house challenges are enemies, illness and debts. The 8th house challenges are obstacles. The 12th house challenges are loss.Snake planets in these houses can intensify some of the challenges. The positive side of 6th house is selfless service. The positive side of 8th house is transformation and change. The positive side of 12th house is enlightenment.Doing remedies for the snake planets can activate positive blessings for people who have either Rahu or Ketu in a difficult house.
For This Ascendant Sign Check If Rahu or Ketu Sit in These Signs in Your Birth Chart. These Are Your 6th, 8th, 12th Houses (Difficult Houses)
    Aries Virgo, Scorpio, Pisces
    Taurus Libra, Sagittarius, Aries
    Gemini Scorpio, Capricorn, Taurus
    Cancer Sagittarius, Aquarius, Gemini
    Leo Capricorn, Pisces, Cancer
    Virgo Aquarius, Aries, Leo
    Libra Pisces, Taurus, Virgo
    Scorpio Aries, Gemini, Libra
    Sagittarius Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio
    Capricorn Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius
    Aquarius Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn
    Pisces Leo, Libra, Aquarius

If you do not know your Ascendant in your birthchart, you can run a free Birth Chart report at AstroVed, Dr. Pillai’s astrology site.

  • If an astrologer has advised you that you have Kala Sarpa condition in your birthchart If all the other planets are on one side of the Rahu/Ketu 180 degree axis in your birthchart, you have Kala Sarpa condition. When Rahu and Ketu bookend all the other planets, it can create a kind of tension in the chart. An example of a chart with Kala Sarpa is Pierre Trudeau, former Prime Minister of Canada.

Vedic Chart of Pierre Trudeau, former Prime Minister of Canada and father of current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Chart is an example of Kala Sarpa condition (all other planets hemmed by Rahu and Ketu).

Note: For people with Kala Sarpa condition, Om Namasivaya is always a good mantra to use.

Dr. Pillai has advised people with Kala Sarpa combination should do remedies for Rahu and Ketu throughout their lives. Participation in the snake festivals is a good remedy.

  • If you were born during a New Moon (15th Waning Moon) on a Solar Eclipse day If in your birthchart, the Moon was within 5 degrees of either Rahu or Ketu on a New Moon (15th Waning Moon) day, the Moon was intercepting the light of the Sun reaching the Earth. This caused a total Solar Eclipse. If in your birthchart, the New Moon was more than 5 degrees away from Rahu or Ketu AND the Sun was right at Rahu or Ketu, then it was a partial Solar Eclipse.People born during a Solar Eclipse benefit from snake festivals as a remedy.
  • If you were born during a Full Moon (15th Waxing Moon) on a Lunar Eclipse day If in your birthchart, a Full Moon (15th Waxing Moon) occurred while the Moon was crossing either Rahu or Ketu, a shadow of the Earth fell on the Moon. A Lunar Eclipse was the result.A Lunar Eclipse may be full or partial, depending on if the Sun was right at the same point as Rahu and Ketu or a little ways away.People born during a Lunar Eclipse benefit from snake festivals as a remedy.
  • If you know you have killed a snake or have a relative who killed a snake People who have killed a snake or have family members who have killed a snake can benefit from snake festivals as a remedy.

Snake Festivals, 2019: Express Gratitude for a Great Teacher and Friend

During the Snake Festivals, we can honor the Nagas and seek blessings from the snake planets Rahu and Ketu for positive transformation.

For 2019, Pillai Center is offering various remedies for the Snake Festivals for Naga Chaturthi and Naga Panchami.

All the planets, including Rahu and Ketu, like it when we perform acts of compassion. It is always a good gesture to do an act of kindness for others such as feed a hungry person or help an elderly or a disabled person or make a donation to Dr. Pillai’s charity Tripura Foundation or any other charity of our choice.

May the blessings, wisdom and mystical power of the Nagas flow into our world and into our lives to give relief from curses and resolve problems.

Powertime: Awaken with Muruga on the 6th Moon

muruga, vel, 6th waxing moon, 3rd eye meditation

The 6th Waxing Moon is a powertime for Spiritual Warrior Archetype Muruga. It occurs on Tuesday, August 6 this month.

Dr. Pillai teaches:

“He is an archetype who can do miracles, and who carries the highest intelligence to perform the most difficult tasks. He is the compassionate one [who bails] us out from difficult situations. He is the Lord of the Pleiades, and the Pleiadians are very concerned about the evolution of the Earth plane.”

Muruga conquers internal enemies with his Vel (lance) and represents the evolution of the brain and 3rd Eye.

6th Moons in the Vedic calendar are Muruga’s regular powertimes.

This particular 6th Moon will be in Chitra, which is a star that influences learning and enlightenment according to Vedic Astrology. This is an auspicious time to invoke Muruga for blessings related to awakening the brain, the 3rd Eye, and spiritual intelligence.

The Vel: Muruga’s Mighty Weapon

Dr. Pillai teaches:

“The Vel, which is the lance that Muruga carries, can erase your karma: your money karma, your relationship karma, your health karma, and your disease karma. It’s glowing with a tremendous amount of light coming out of the Vel, light and heat. That light and heat, both celestial, will diffuse the karmic deposits within your soul, and also within your brain.”

He continues:

“Once karma is diffused by the Vel, then the mindset will change. Most people have a mediocre mindset, attracting only scarcity and fighting with scarcity. Then they continue to live in that state of mind. That has to be changed, and who can help? Muruga and his Vel can help.”

MANTRA & AT-HOME PRACTICE:

Chant Muruga’s seed syllable (Bija) mantra for conquering internal enemies: Om Saravana Bhava

It’s pronounced ohm sah-rah-vah-nah bah-vah, with equal accent on each syllable. The mantra can dissolve karmic thought patterns and help bring good health and prosperity.

Do the Muruga 3rd Eye Meditation to Melt Karma:

Pillai Center teacher Mohini has shared a powerful meditation that uses Muruga’s Vel and Bija mantra to remove internal enemies and bad karma, and to awaken the 3rd Eye, your Spiritual Eye. Try this meditation, and you’ll see just how powerful it is. See below for instructions.

Dr. Pillai teaches:

“The Vel is an instrument for opening the 3rd Eye. As a matter of fact, the Vel itself, the lance that Muruga holds, is the 3rd Eye. The 3rd Eye intelligence is the highest intelligence, and it is not learned intelligence, so that’s a great advantage.”

Instructions:

  1. Imagine Muruga holding a Vel in his hand. The Vel is as bright as thousands of suns, and just as powerful. Visualize it as a bright flame. Do this for a few moments.
  2. Imagine the Vel in your entire spinal column, with its head in your 3rd Eye, which is between the eyebrows and a little bit inward.
  3. The Vel is now burning your 3rd Eye, purifying it of negative karma, and making room for Divine Intelligence and intuition.
  4. Say a prayer: I will never forget the Vel, burning in my 3rd Eye, as a bright flame, removing my karma.
  5. Command the Vel, in prayer, to remove all disease karma. Remember to keep the visualization of the Vel in the spinal column going. It’s very bright.
  6. Repeat Muruga’s seed syllable mantra: Om Saravana Bhava. It’s pronounced Ohm Sah Rah Vah Nah Bah Vah. This is the sound equivalent of the Vel that slices up your inner demons.
  7. Command the Vel to remove poverty consciousness, and repeat the mantra while the Vel burns in your 3rd Eye.
  8. Repeat the previous step with a command to remove your ignorance and replace it with Divine Intelligence.
  9. Give thanks to Muruga.

Vishnu, 11th moon, powertimes, pillai center, kubera fire lab

“The 11th Moon in Sanskrit is called Ekadasi, which really means the 11th Moon. Eleven is a number that represents abundance. There is a lot of mythology around this 11th Moon, which is particularly associated with Vishnu. Vishnu is the God of the 11th Moon.” – Dr. Pillai

The 11th Waxing Moon powertime on August 10 will be in Jyeshta, Vedic Astrology’s star of courage and conflict resolution.

Also during this 11th Waxing Moon, Pillai Center’s Vedic priests will invoke Vishnu and Lakshmi, his wife, in the single form of Lakshmi Narayana on your behalf. Lakshmi Narayana is believed to give complete peace and prosperity blessings along with the courage to accomplish both peace and prosperity.

Mantra & At-Home Practice

Chant Vishnu’s mantra: Om Namo Narayanaya. It is pronounced ohm NAH-mo nah-rah-yah-NAH-yah. This invokes Vishnu’s blessings for wealth, material comforts, and health.

Fast on the 11th Moon. This powertime is especially good for fasting, if your health allows you to do so. You do not need a total fast. Some fruit and juice is OK. The goal of the fasting is to remain alert so you can connect with Vishnu and wealth consciousness.

Sucharita welcomed us to the Powertime Practice call on August 3, 2019 by mentioning that it is Rahu/Ketu time!  We are going to invite both of them onto our call today because tomorrow starts two days to remove snake curses-Naga Chaturthi and Naga Panchami.  Nagas are very powerful, mystical beings in the form of snakes that have the power to cast or remove curses. This festival is a very auspicious time to seek protection against snake afflictions from your previous births and to invoke serpentine blessings for the well-being of your children, family, and overall prosperity.  On Naga Chaturthi and Naga Panchami days, fresh eggs and milk will be offered to snakes in anthills to obtain serpentine blessings. Serpent images in silver, stone, wood, or rice flour are bathed in milk and invoked for blessings and protection. It is believed that your sincere prayers to snake gods during these two power days can help in reducing the intensity of Doshas (afflictions) created from killing snakes in previous births, preventing danger from poisons, chemicals, and allergic substances, overcoming addictions to alcohol and other intoxicants and seeking relief from illusionary fears. Learn more.

The nodes of the moon are Rahu and Ketu, the head of a snake and the tail of the snake.  On the 4th and 5th waxing moons, in the month of Aadi (mid-July to mid-August), this energy is activated.  Rahu is insatiable-he wants to eat too much, talk to much, drink too much and Ketu is just squirreling around, not able to be in alignment.  This is the kundalini energy.  In order to find out how Rahu and Ketu are affecting our lives, Sucharita recommends that we get an astrology reading.  These are available at AstroVed.

Fiery Planet in Fiery Sign: Mars Enters Leo in August 2019

“Mars has competitive energy. Wearing something red on Tuesdays (the day of the week ruled by Mars) can help connect us with the success consciousness of Mars.” ‒ Dr. Pillai

Mars (considered a fiery planet) will enter Leo (a fiery Zodiac sign) on August 8, 2019, in North America and on August 9, 2019, in Asia. He will remain there until September 24, 2019, in North America and September 25, 2019, in Asia.

Mars is comfortable spending time in Leo. The joint combination of fiery energy makes it a good time for initiating or strengthening projects that we genuinely care about. Mars is considered a planet of passion, so it is a favorable period to ensure we are directing our passions in a positive direction. Mars can empower our authentic ambitions and genuine desires for adventure.

From Earth, Mars appears to have a reddish color. He often looks like a burning, reddish charcoal in the night sky. The suggestion from Dr. Pillai to honor Mars on Tuesday by wearing something red helps align us with the courage and bravery of Mars. The red color can instill in us a desire to do our personal best and a willingness to adopt a winner’s attitude in our consciousness.

Mars in Leo Stimulates Desire to Take Action to Solve Problems, Get Fit and Stay Busy

Mars is an action-oriented planet. He gives motivation to fix problems that can be solved (Saturn gives us the patience to endure things that cannot be changed just yet). Mars in Leo is a good time to review our To Do lists and re-engage with getting things repaired or completing actions that are necessary to resolve open issues.

Mars in Leo can help us reestablish our interest in life if we have gotten stale in any area. It is important to direct the Mars in Leo energies in ways that are life affirming and positive for us.

Mars in Leo is an auspicious time to renew our willpower and participation in regular exercise (whether walking, martial arts classes, yoga programs, swimming or whatever is suitable for us in our local situation). This is a good period to get moving again if we have slacked off and boost our vitality with help from Mars. Some people may feel spurred to do some travel, even if it is just a day trip out of town.

Mars in Leo may make some people restless, and other people may need to guard against indulging in anger. Releasing energy through walking or other forms of exercise are good choices for us during this period.

Some people may need to be cautious to avoid escalating romantic conflicts. It is a beneficial time to direct energy toward being generous toward others and keeping to the high road. For some people, the willpower from Mars in Leo energy can be used to hold their tongue or wait an extra day to respond to an email as it is a true saying that sometimes “silence is golden.”

The fiery energy will be affecting everyone, and we do not want to be harmful toward others. Mars in Leo is a time to direct our willpower in actively constructive ways.

Mars Rules Real Estate and Auspicious Things of the Earth

In one of the Vedic legends, Mars is described as the son of a union between Vishnu and the Earth Goddess Bhumi after Vishnu rescued her from a demon. One of the Sanskrit names for Mars is Mangala, meaning lucky or auspicious. Mars is associated with many auspicious things of the Earth such as gold and precious minerals and agriculture or gardening since his mother is the Earth Goddess.

In the modern world, Mars is also associated with real estate. Invoking the blessings of Mars while he is in Leo can be helpful for anyone buying or selling property. He can give support to anyone looking to make a move in residential location or change in office space.

Mars in Science News

Mars is capturing global attention as more contemporary movies and programs envision travelling to Mars. The idea of journeying to the red planet is seizing the popular imagination. NASA is a good source for science news updates about Mars, and SpaceX is also developing spacefaring plans to Mars.

Mars in Leo: Home Remedies

During Mars in Leo period, many people like to do some home remedies. Some suggestions include:

  • Make prayers to Mars for blessings for courage and protection as well as more vigor and stamina
  • Ask Mars to energize positive actions and important projects
  • Wear something red on Tuesdays and ask blessing from Mars for success consciousness
  • Light ghee lamps for Mars
  • Do extra chanting of Mars mantra: Om Mangalaya Namaha
  • Offer Mars red beans or red lentils
  • Read the 108 names of Mars and the commentaries on them in the Mars chapter of Yoga of the Planets: Their Mantras and Philosophy by Andrew Foss

Mars in Leo, 2019:

While Mars is visiting Leo, we can monitor how we deal with anger or frustration and take responsibility for channeling those energies in positive ways.

Pillai Center does offer a Carnelian Mala, a reddish color stone suitable for invoking both Mars and Muruga (the archetype who rules Mars). Some people may like to use a Carnelian Mala to recite mantras or to wear during the Mars in Leo period. Pillai Center describes the Carnelian Mala:

“Carnelian is considered as a stone of ambition, courage, inspiration and power. This Mala helps increase physical energy and personal power. Carnelian is a stone of action which is very useful in all decision making processes as it helps to stay focused and motivated. Wearing this Mala increases your confidence, creativity, individuality, and self-realization. Carnelian helps dispel apathy and indolence. It helps discover hidden talents and awakens curiosity in the people who wear it.”

A gentle reminder that all the planets, including Mars, like it when we perform acts of compassion. It is always a good gesture to do an act of kindness for others such as feed a hungry person or help an elderly or a disabled person or make a donation to Dr. Pillai’s charity Tripura Foundation or any other charity of our choice.

Some people like to make an extra gesture for Mars and do something to show support for police, firefighters, military or others who help us with protection, safety and security.

May the blessings of Mars while he is in Leo reinvigorate all of us and help us to grow in strength, courage, self-reliance and a commitment to use our power wisely and constructively to improve our lives and our world.

pradosham, karma removal, powertimes, money karma, financial karma, namah shivaya meditation

“Every Pradosham time is the powertime for you to wake up, even if you don’t meditate on a daily basis. If you are aware of the Pradosham time and observe it by meditating during the Pradosham time, you can be liberated from this unconscious life.” – Dr. Pillai

The 1.5 hours before sunset on the 13th Moon phase is a karma-dissolving powertime called Pradosham. Shiva, the Ultimate Karma Removal Archetype, is believed to be highly accessible during this time to help you remove the karmic thought patterns and impressions that hold you back from spiritual and material success.

During this particular Pradosham, the Moon will be in Purva Ashada, a star related to Venus and material comforts according to Vedic Astrology.

This is a great time to dissolve undesirable karmic thought patterns and worries that interfere with your ability to increase prosperity.

MANTRA & AT-HOME PRACTICE:

Use the Thiru Neela Kantam mantra to remove karma. It’s pronounced TEE-roo NEE-lah KAHN-tahm. Don’t just chant it every once in a while. Slip it into your day during any “downtime” so it creates a powerful momentum that cleanses your karma. Use the mantra any time you’re not busy with something you can’t do simultaneously. If you have a specific problem in mind, you can set the intent to cleanse the karmic thought patterns behind it.

Do the Namah Shivaya Meditation. Dr. Pillai says, “You will have a world of benefits come to you. It will burn your karma, your Maya, and your ego.”

Instructions:

  • Close your eyes. Chant each syllable for a few seconds while focusing on each of the chakras.
  • At the bottom of the spine – NAAAAH.
  • Move to the navel – MAAAAH.
  • Move to the heart – SHEEEE.
  • Move to the throat, the mouth – VAAAAAH.
  • Move to the two eyes, and then the Third Eye and the brain – YAAAAAH.

That’s less than a minute. You can prolong your visit to each chakra, and you can also do this meditation multiple times in a row. It’s flexible.

POWERTIME ENHANCER:

Join the Release Financial Anxiety Karma-Dissolving Prayer Service on August 12 PDT UTC IST. Powertime: Full Moon of the Goddess & Intelligence Blessings

“Hayagriva is the horse-faced god of intelligence. He is considered an avatar of Vishnu. He is the god of consciousness. He’s the God of intelligence. He can bring you miracles. Hayagriva represents the restorer, the one who restores wisdom from the clutches of ignorance. We are going to celebrate his birthday. The celebration of the birthdays of the avatars is very important.” ~ Dr. Pillai

The upcoming Full Moon on August 14 is the Goddess Full Moon, which brings the Divine Mother’s energy to the Earth plane. It is also when we celebrate the birthday of Hayagriva, the horse-headed incarnation of Vishnu, the Archetype of Wealth.

Dr. Pillai teaches that a powertime for a birth of a God or Goddess is a time for birthing that God’s or Goddess’s energy within yourself.

Hayagriva Activates Your Brain & Intellect

Hayagriva is believed to activate the logical and analytical aspects of the mind. Teachers and students alike invoke him to enhance their teaching and learning skills.

Dr. Pillai explains the significance of Vishnu’s horse incarnation:

“All our problems are due to the brain not functioning properly. If we can get the brain under control, then everybody becomes intelligent. Everyone becomes compassionate, and we can find a solution for the problems of the world through the horse archetype of Vishnu. What is he going to do? The archetype will go and completely overpower your soul, your intellect, and your whole being. The archetype will change you. What does that mean? It means the descent of the archetype into the consciousness of the world.”

Pillai Center offers opportunities for group activities on Full Moon powertimes because praying and chanting in groups is said to multiply your manifesting efforts.

We will celebrate the Full Moon with both an eastern and a western Fire Lab. We will celebrate Hayagriva’s birthday with a lot of powerful eastern and western offerings, including the western Shreem Brzee Fire Lab, which will be devoted to both Wealth Goddess Lakshmi and Hayagriva.

Mantras & At-Home Practice

Hayagriva’s Gayatri Mantra:

Om Vagishwaraye Vidmahe (ohm vah-gish-WAH-rah-yay VID-mah-hay)

Hayagrivaye Dhimahi (hah-yah-GREE-vah-yay DEE-mah-hee)

Tanno Hayagrivah Prachodayat (tah-NOH hah-yah-GREE-vah prah-CHO-dah-yaht)

Simple Hayagriva Mantra:

Om Hayagriva, Hayagriva, Hayagriva

Use Lakshmi’s wealth mantra, Shreem Brzee:

This mantra invokes the Goddess to help you eliminate poverty consciousness and attract spiritual and material wealth. Chant it as often as possible, even while shopping or when waiting in line to pay for your Slurpee. This will reinforce the mantra’s energy and help create new habits within the brain.

“Vishnupati is the time that Vishnu, the archetype of wealth, gives you material boons. It happens when the Sun enters a fixed sign, four times in a year.”

“I personally connected my soul with Vishnu, and it took place in a miraculous way, outside of my own attempts to do something… it was not until my soul came in touch with Vishnu that I could see very dramatic results… If you need dramatic results in your material wealth, you will have to go to Vishnu.” ~ Dr. Pillai

The Sun will enter the fixed sign of Leo and bring us into the Vishnupati powertime on Sunday, August 18 PDT.

On this day, the Moon will be in Purva Bhadrapada, the star of enlightenment and charity in Vedic Astrology. It is believed that connecting with Vishnu during Vishnupati can help release blessings for safeguarding prosperity and for fulfilling your material desires.

Mantra & At-Home Practice

Chant the Vishnu Mantra: Om Namo Narayanaya. It’s pronounced ohm NAH-mo nah-rah-yah-NYE-yah. Narayanaya is normally synonymous with Vishnu, and it sometimes refers to His Avatar Incarnations, like Rama and Krishna. It also denotes Vishnu, at home in Heaven, with His wife, Lakshmi. The mantra can bring material security, wealth, health, and contentment.

Chant the Ultimate Wealth-Building Mantra: Shreem Brzee. Shreem Brzee invokes a special form of Wealth Goddess Archetype Lakshmi, who eliminates poverty consciousness while attracting wealth to you. Fridays are excellent days to use this mantra because they are ruled by Lakshmi, Vishnu’s wife.

Powertime Enhancer

Sponsor the Empower Wealth Creation Interactive Fire Lab on Sunday, August 18 PDT. The Vedic priests will invoke Vishnu for blessings and prosperity boons. Enjoy the benefits from anywhere via ancient Vedic proxy (distance) technology. You may watch it live via webcast as well.

One of our most special powertimes of the year is at the end of the Tamil month of Aadi, which we also call the Month of the Goddess. We close out this month with a special prayer offering called Bhagavati Seva, which will be on August 16 this year.

Bhagavati Seva is a very specialized set of offerings dedicated to the Supreme Mother Goddess in the form of Rajarajeswari. She governs prosperity and fertility. Priests who facilitate Bhagavati Seva receive elaborate training and initiations to be able to do so.

Benefits of Participating in Bhagavati Seva May Include:

  • Longevity and good health
  • Material wealth and luxuries
  • Pacification of harmful planetary influences in your Vedic Astrology chart
  • A peaceful and balanced life and environment
  • Destruction of bad karma and dark forces
  • Progeny
  • Positivity and spiritual growth
  • Harmony with cosmic forces and nature

Symbology of Bhagavati Seva

The offerings begin with a drawing of a lotus on the ground, symbolizing the universe. The priests place a lamp in the center and more lamps along the outline.

Within the lotus are the five elements of nature: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Ether-Spirit.

The symbology is believed to have profound effects on a participant’s relationship with self, other people, nature, and the entire universe. This harmony may allow participants work in unison with the elements and all beings, destroy antagonistic relationships, and open to receiving wealth and abundance in all its forms.

How to Sponsor Bhagavati Seva Services on August 16 PDT

You are invited to join our priests from anywhere in the world you happen to be. There are multiple packages to choose from to suit your needs and/or budget. You can also tune in to the live webcast.

Sign Up by August 16 at 1:30 a.m. PDT

Jupiter Goes Direct in Scorpio: August 2019

“Jupiter is considered as the teacher par excellence. He is also called the ‘God of Gold’ in Vedic astrology. He is responsible for taking care of all kinds of problems and afflictions by other planets as well. He is also a planet that governs intelligence. He is responsible for the highest consciousness and highest intelligence that is processed as a yellow or golden light in the pineal gland.” ‒ Dr. Pillai

(Note: The 2019 AstroVed printed calendar has a typo error saying Jupiter turns direct in Sagittarius August 11. Jupiter is currently sitting in Scorpio. He has been in a retrograde motion since mid-April. We apologize for the misprint.)

Jupiter turns direct in Scorpio on August 11, 2019, in both North America and Asia. He will travel direct in Scorpio until November 4, 2019, in North America / November 5, 2019, in Asia when he will transit into Sagittarius.

The symbol of Scorpio, the scorpion, is often a nocturnal creature. Scorpio is the most occult and secretive environment of all the signs. Jupiter going direct in Scorpio is favorable for working with the “hidden energies”. He gives support for strengthening consistent habits with mantras, meditation and ritual practices.

Optimistic Jupiter Going Direct in Scorpio Renews Hope and Positivity

“You have to train the mind to gradually evolve and conceive the unlimited.” ~ Dr. Pillai

Jupiter is a planet that can help us with all our spiritual practices. This is a good period to deepen and increase our efforts for positivity as Jupiter does radiate an overall optimistic energy. In Roman times, Jupiter was called Jove, and our English word jovial comes from that.

Jupiter has enormous positive energy. He is sometimes called “The Great Benefic”, so this shift can give us energies of fresh hope.

Jupiter Is Currently in the Jyestha, Star at the Heart of Scorpio

Jupiter makes the change from retrograde to direct while in the star of Jyestha. Jyestha is a star associated with courage and conflict resolution. Jyeshta has a reddish color and is sometimes described as the “heart” of the Scorpio constellation.

Jyeshta is a huge star and is known as Antares in astronomy. If we put Jyestha in our solar system where our Sun is, the size of Jyestha would go past the Sun, past Mercury, past Venus, past the Earth, past Mars and half way out to Jupiter.

We can embrace Jupiter’s movement to direct while he is in immense Jyestha as a wonderful time to earnestly reset our focus toward positivity in all areas of our life. We can ask Jupiter to ignite our passions so that we are flooded with golden light and a hearty drive toward optimism and good cheer.

Jupiter Is 200%: 100% Spiritual and 100% Material

Dr. Pillai encourages everyone to live a 200% life, 100% spiritual and 100% material.

Jupiter is truly a 200% planet. He has agenda for all things spiritual as well as the highest integrity, and he also has agenda for great wealth. Jupiter can empower us for both enlightenment and prosperity. This is a favorable time to set expansive goals in both the spiritual and material areas of our lives. With Jupiter’s help, we can open our minds to think big and write out fresh goals.

Jupiter rules the areas of banking and the law. With his blessings, we can seek fresh resolutions with any banking or legal matters.

Jupiter’s day of the week is Thursday, and his grain is called garbanzo bean or chickpea in English. Some people like to offer Jupiter a small amount of garbanzo bean / chickpea on Thursdays and also include some in their meal, whether adding some to a salad or putting in casserole or having as a side dish. In Tamil Nadu (a state in southern India), this grain is called channa, and there are many tasty variations on how to serve it.

Jupiter Going Direct in Scorpio Can Open Up Inner Wisdom

One of Jupiter’s names is Brihaspati, the lord of prayer. He is considered a teacher to divine beings. He can give good counsel and help us to be open to those who are giving us sound advice.

Jupiter is considered to be the son of Rishi Angira, described in some texts as of the seven great rishis or sages of ancient times and one of the authors of the Rig Veda. Jupiter is said to share the spiritual knowledge of his father.

Jupiter going direct in the most occult sign while in a powerful star can give us blessings to grow deeper in wisdom.

Jupiter in Science News

On August 8, 2019, NASA released a new photograph of Jupiter from the Hubble telescope taken in June, 2019. The new photo has an excellent view of Jupiter’s famous Great Red Spot as well as a vivid display of the swirling colors across Jupiter’s atmosphere.

Jupiter in Scorpio: Home Remedies

During Jupiter in Scorpio period, many people like to do some home remedies. Some suggestions include:

  • Express gratitude to Jupiter for our blessings in this life in encountering spiritual teachers and spiritual teachings
  • Request Jupiter to deepen our commitment to truly living a 200% life: 100% spiritual and 100% material
  • Make prayers to Jupiter for blessings for greater wealth, positivity and integrity
  • Ask Jupiter to resolve all banking and legal matters with justice and compassion
  • Light ghee lamps for Jupiter
  • Do extra chanting of Jupiter mantra Om Gurave Namaha
  • Offer Jupiter garbanzo beans or chick peas on Thursdays and include some in a meal
  • Read the 108 names of Jupiter and the commentaries on them in the Jupiter chapter of Yoga of the Planets: Their Mantras and Philosophy by Andrew Foss

Jupiter Direct in Scorpio, 2019:

Pillai Center is offering a Jupiter direct in Scorpio remedial package.

Some people like to honor Jupiter with a yellow, diamond-cut citrine mala as that is one of the precious stones associated with Jupiter.

A gentle reminder that all the planets, including Jupiter, like it when we perform acts of compassion. It is always a good gesture to do an act of kindness for others such as feeding a hungry person or helping an elderly or a disabled person or making a donation to Dr. Pillai’s charity Tripura Foundation or any other charity of our choice.

Some people like to make an extra gesture for Jupiter and do something to show support for the educational efforts of others.

May Jupiter bless us during his stay in Scorpio with renewed positivity, increased wisdom, deeper commitment to our spiritual practices and overall joy and abundance in our material lives. We ask Jupiter to bless all our teachers of the past, present and to come. We ask Jupiter to bless all our students of the past, present and to come. We thank him for the blessing of spiritual community and cheerful attitude. May Jupiter renew hope for all and teach all of us to use both spiritual and material power with wisdom.

Swamini Valli Wells is a Pillai Center Teacher and an AstroVed Astrologer who does Live Astrologer Consultations for the USD version of AstroVed, Dr. Pillai’s astrology site.
